Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : How do you rig up iPaq and bluetooth GPS?
I have a Garmin iQue, and my husband has an iPaq H2200 with bluetooth. He really likes my navigation system and wants to add the same thing to his iPaq.
We're leaning towards the Garmin GPS 10 bluetooth antenna, mostly because my iQue is so great, and it would be nice to have a similar package (with similar software).
How do you set up an iPaq and GPS 10 in the car? I see that Garmin has a universal PDA mount that looks fine, and I suppose power is supplied through an iPaq DC power cord, but what about a speaker?
Any suggestions or advice are welcome.

I am going to copy this thread to Garmin forum and let the gps experts here help.
Thanks, Answer dude. I didn't see this forum, just knew I needed to get out of Palm land and into PPC land.

I have an older iPaq 4350, and believe it or not the volume is pretty darn loud! Loud enough to not have to use a speaker in my case. I use the universal PDA mount from Garmin and a generic power cord. Works great.
Thanks for the replies. And OWG, thank you for sending me to the appropriate page of that unbelievably long thread. Good info in there, but wow, I'm not sure I could have made it to that page on my own! ;)
I realize it's an old thread, but Bokkie must have meant nail polish (varnish) remover (aka acetone), not the nail polish itself. Good God, nail polish would have made quite a mess. And I would have tried hair spray first, much less risky, since acetone can dissolve the plastic itself. You'd be amazed at what hair spray can take off. Or heat it up with a hair dryer to peel off the label and maybe try some rubbing alcohol. At any rate, hope your label situation is better.
The proclip looks like quite the deal. Their mount is nice, but boy, do they want a lot for the device holder! The seidio is also quite the device, but what a crappy web site. Although I just erased a tiny rant because I found the link to their online store. Also pricey. But hey, we're worth it.
I didn't know the iPaq's speaker might be loud enough on its own. Definitely worth a try, and for sure less $$ than these cradles. My iQue is definitely worth a nice cradle (actually, I use the Garmin one with permanent mount, pretty plain vanilla), but not so sure about my husband's. It is my car, after all. :)
