Thanks in advance Telyx 07-19-2005, 06:20 PM AvantGo, iSilo, and Plucker are three that come to mind. Each has a desktop component that retrieves web page content and formats/converts it for the Palm, and a Palm component to read it. Alexander Peter 07-22-2005, 06:35 AM Thanks Telyx! I've tried iSilo and Plucker and they seem to be very useful. However, it seems that they only allow to put whole pages to a Palm. This is not very convenient for me because in most cases I need to get on my Palm only some information from the page. Currently I have to sync the whole page, but it's annoying to look through this page for the information I only need because of little Palm screen size. Is there any way to solve that? Thanks in advance Telyx 07-22-2005, 09:37 AM You could highlight the information on the web page, then paste it into a New Memo in the Memos portion of Palm Desktop, then HotSync. If it includes graphics or tables, you could save it as a .html file and then use iSiloX or something to convert it for the Palm. alexswa 07-24-2005, 05:03 AM I've seen several tools that could help you. HandStory (http://www.handstory.com/product/download.html) and Vikao (http://www.mayeticvillage.com/home.nsf/Pages/vikaoforpalm) allow to select any part of a Web page and sync it to your handheld. As for me, for such purposes I use Fragmento (http://www.acmeta.com/fragmento/index.html) in conjunction with iSiloX that was mentioned above. Fragmento allows to select some part of a Web page and extract it into a new Web page. Then I use iSiloX to transfer this extracted page to my Clie. Hope this helps. alexswa 07-24-2005, 05:09 AM Oh, one more thing. Fragmento is in beta and it requires an eap password to download. I've got one. So, in case you're going to download Fragmento, just drop me a message at alexswa _at_ gmail.com. PDA Street
