What do you all think about the cases that close with a small magnet. It was always my impression that I should keep any kind / size magnet away from my handheld yet some of the nicer cases these days have a small magnet type closure system.
Anything to be concerned about?

People will call you (and me, I guess) paranoid for worrying about it - but I've always thought it was absolutely stupid to place magnets anywhere near electronic stuff.
I jump out of the way like a scalded cat when my girlfriend says "Ooooh! Fridge Magnets!" Can't see me for dust.
Guess what . . . you know what holds the stylus in a T3? That's right . . . . now you'll never sleep again. A MAGNET. Seems ridiculous to me, and I'd stay away from them. Buddy of mine has a cellphone case that closes the same way, surrounding the "flip" with a magnetized lock.
No thanks. Rather use a nail gun.

I wouldn't worry so much if the case is strictly for use with the single device. I've not seen any PDA's or phones that use magnetic media, however, I might have thoughts if the case also held Credit cards.
