iPaq 3835 and Dell TrueMobile 1150 Wireless Card

Hello forum.

I will be buying an iPaq 3835 and a PC Card Sleeve. Does anyone know if the Dell TrueMobile 1150 PC Card (802.11b) is supported or if there are drivers available? I want to use this as I have the card just laying around and didn't want to buy a new wireless card.


Also, is there a list of supported PC Cards for the iPaq. I looked on the Compaq/HP sites and didn't have much luck.

You need to look at the site where they support hte card. THey are the ones who are going to write and puplish the drive. So I'd go look under the download section for the card and see if they have one writen.

I have a 3765 with the Dell Truemobile 1150, and the pccard expansion pack. The Truemobile 1150 is a rebadged Orinoco Gold card. This is the exact same card as the Compaq WL110. If you load the WL110 client on your iPaq, then insert your Truemobile card, the iPaq asks you to name the "Unidentified card" Type the name of the compaq driver "WLCOM46" and everything works perfectly.
