North America City Select

Just been checking to see if the N. America City Select Update was available, and it was not even listed, hopefully the old link has been pulled getting ready for the new update.:D Have a look at

What version do you have? I bought my 3600 a few weeks ago and I have v6.

I am running N/A City Select version 5, I missed out the update last years, as I live in the UK and only use it for the holidays. However if you only bought your GPS a few weeks ago, you might be entitled to a free update. I can't exactly remember the requirements, but I have no doubt that someone from the forum will advise :)

I think it normally is that if you buy the old product within a month of the release date of the new one, then you are so close, that they'll give away the new one to you.

Actually, looking at the Garmin website, it appears that I have the latest version.

Hi danbee46, you do have the current version, or should I say had, because the update Ver 7 is due out very soon, and it will pay for you to check on a daily bases as the upgrade is usually around $70 - $75, and as already mentioned you may be allowed a free update :)

I skipped V6, so we'll see if I can "upgrade" when V7 comes out. I see the expected dates for the other new products are August 15th, I figure that's when CS will be available too.
