I am getting ready to install the Pocket PC 2002 SP1 on my iPAQ H3765. I have a few questions i hope someone can answer.

1) Will aplying this update delet all of the files on my iPAQ?

2) What does it fix?

3) Does it introduce any new features?

Thanks. I did find all the info there except hte answer to my first question. Will it delete all my programs and files?

Where do you get the Service Pack upgrades? Do you get them from Microsoft or from Compaq?

I have OS version 3.0 but Product Revision level 1.0.

How many Service Pack releases have their been.... more than one?

3 so far, it was released from Microsoft to each pda maker, and Compaq/Hp released to us.

Thanks for the post. I see the latest version does not upgrade the media player for the 3600 series which I have. My media player is version 4.x.

I imagine I need to find the previous service packs and upgrade with each in order. Does this sound correct.... find the service release 1 and install it. Find service release 2 and install it. Finally download the service release 3 and install that?

Do you know which version upgraded the media player?

I think I should have been more clear, the euu that's being discussed is for pocketpc 2002. I think you still have pocketpc 2000 on your ipaq. So it's more complicated for you. You will need to get a pocketpc 2002 upgrade cd, apply that 1st then the euu3, euu3 includes all previous update.

And YES, it does delete all your programs and files.
you should back your data up first, apply the update, and then restore it back to the IPAQ.
