Unit Down - Need to Recover from Backup

My Diamond REvo unit just stopped working even though I kept the battery charged. It won't even charge in the cradle. First question..any idea how to get it started again? Assuming no, can I print out key files (e.g. contacts) from my backup (on a Windoes XP desktop)? One thought I had was to buy a cheap used Mako and restore to it. Will this work? Also, I have never been able to print files from my Mako even when it was working and even though I followed the instructions in the User Manuel. Have any of you had this problem? How did you fix it?

Try a soft reset (just 1 pin), if that don't work, try a hard reset (2 pins simultaneously). A hard reset WILL wipe all data, but you've got a backup, so no worries.

Yes, you can restore to a different Mako, although you might have a little trouble convincing PsiWin. You better ask someone who actually uses PsiWin how tricky it is!
