New at this. I got a 1g Ultra II SD card at Best Buy today for $79 (after $20 rebate). How do I transfer the data on my old 256 card to the new one? I scanned the FAQ but nothing jumped out at me. 'Course that's why my wife says I can't find anything...as she goes right to it.
Thanks! G8TR

If you have a card reader in your PC, then use that. Install old card, copy to temporary directory, insert new card, copy back to that, and you are finished.

Anders,
That was too easy. Too logical. Not nearly painful enough compared to what I thought I had to do. Thanks from the land of palm trees (stripped bare by hurricanes). :)

You're welcome from the land, where all the trees have fallen, thanks to another hurricane...

Not far from where I live, they are now compiling the largest store of timber in the world, or so they say. You can see some pictures here (http://www.hallandsposten.se/artikel.asp?oid=64043), and read about it, provided you master the language of honor and glory...

That's a lot of wood!! Instead of making up my own story from the pictures, I'll ask - What are they going to do with it all - auction it off?

At Byholma, about 1/140th of all the timber, which fell in this hurricane, will be stored. There's not enough sawmill capacity available to process it at the same rate as it's recovered from the woods, so it's to be stored until they've time to make planks etc. of it.
