switching on a 4700

Has anyone else got this problem?

When I start my 4700, it will allays startup with the backlight off. I then have to press the "go" button again to turn the backlight on...

Pressing the apps buttons starts the machine up but again, not the backlight...(I thought I had set this up in "settings") A further push of the "go" button is needed.

Is it just me?

Just want to be sure, you do not push and hold the power on/off button do you? Pressing and Holding on to the button will cycle through backlight settings.

LOL...that's exactly what I was doing! I now feel as foolish as I actuallly am...
