I think I may be ready to try my hand of writing some software for palm OS applications....any suggestions of what type of software I should use to write them? Please remember I will be a newbie at this so complex programs might not be the best starting place....
Carol:rolleyes:

Carol,
I'm going to move this to the programming section since you'll get better answers there. To start with, you'll need to sign up as a Palm developer and get the Palm SDK and the Palm Emulator. You can check out the common software tools at http://www.palmos.com/dev/tools/ . There really isn't any Palm software development that's not complex - some are just more complex than others.:) C and C++ are the two common professional development languages although you can also use some flavors of visual basic, which makes things a little easier. If you've done any software development for the PC, things will be a little easier but, if you've never done any software development before, Palm software development can be pretty daunting.
