If so what do I do about it please? OldBlue 11-25-2002, 10:07 AM One of your 3rd party applications that worked all right with previous versions of Palm OS is incompatable with Tungsten's OS5. Here's a link to some technical info about "chunk underlock" and "chunk overlock": http://tinfpc2.vub.ac.be/manuals/palm/devguide/ch04.htm#P33_703 The info is about 4/5 down the page under "Memory API." The practical solution would be to check all your 3rd party apps to confirm compatability with OS5 and installing upgrades as needed. If that doesn't work, you may have to perform a hard reset and install the 3rd party apps one by one to discover which app is causing the problem. OldBlue MBGrayson 11-25-2002, 01:12 PM In my experience, the Palm beta keyboard driver caused almost all of my crashes. Once I removed that from RAM, trouble-free city. Mike Bill Westwood 11-29-2002, 03:32 AM Thanks very much for replies, beta keyboard driver seems to be the culprit. Have deleted it & now synching "trouble free". Palm say the problem should be solved with the release of the full driver "soon".:p PDA Street
