Has anyone tried the iPaq EUU3 service pack on their Jornada yet? Any feedback?

I must say, as a long term HP customer, that I'm less than impressed that the iPaq update has been available for weeks whilst the Jornada one isn't even on the cards yet. Nothing like rewarding customer loyalty is there...

Well as no one seems to have taken the plunge I went ahead and did it anyway and I can report that all appears well.

I used the EUU3 upgrade from Compaq's website on my (UK) 568 and I now have the upgraded Windows Media Player, Today screen and hopefully the PPP and IE security fixes. Will try these out using a remote connection later to see if it fixes the PPP glitches I've experienced.

How did you get you Jornada 568 to pocket pc 2002? Where did you find the upgrade?

Thanx!

How long did the update take?

Once you've downloaded the file and copied it to the Jornada the actual update process takes about 15 minutes and two restarts to complete.

And I can confirm that Pocket Internet Explorer is much less prone to dropping PPP connections after the update.

Do you think that this Ipaq upgrade can work on a Audivox Maestro? It seem like people have gotten the update 3 to work on a Hp pocket pc and if they can make it work on a Hp i think i can get it to work on my pocket pc.

Ok good news I downloaded that Update 3 for the Ipaq and installed it on my Maestro. It took a while to install but it installed perfectly. I have not seen a problem yet and everyhing is working.
