My first post...............

Is it possible to login to an iPAQ without the password (some kind of hack?), its just that i'm thinking about handing them out to salesforce but say they forgot their password how could I get in???

Any ideas apart from the hard reset which would lose the data.

Cheers,

Nope. You'd have to hard reset the device.

You could do, but you couldn't stop members of the salesforce from changing the password the moment they walked out of the door.

You can easily find a type of keylogger which would just keep keys or download some type of program that recovers PW's.. Just find some PPC Keylogger and put it on there machine..

So what you are really looking for is the PocketPC equivalent of Teal Lock for Palm. This is a password challenge program that has an admin account built into it.

I would have thought that the equivalent to a NT/w2k/XP "user profile" on a pocketpc device would provide the fucntionality you are after.

I have read some stuff on creating individual profiles for pocketpc's but have lost it. I will have a search around the web and get back to you.

Simon
