 After watching all of the problems associated with their first try at 1.10, I'm looking for honest feedback from users who have upgraded and patched. I use a 4705 - primarily for work. I don't play a lot of music (unless stuck on a plane) or watch movies. I use a wireless connection at home, and sometimes in hotels (when they offer it). I sync with a cable. Do I need 1.10?
Thanks,
Jeff

This upgrade only addresses extended capacity battery and nothing else. So if you do not have one or do not plan to use one, you don't need this update.

Thanks Answerdude. I think I may have misled you with my question. I know the patch fixes extended battery stuff in 1.10, but I'm wondering whether 1.10 itself is worth the upgrade (time, hassle and risk). My 4705 is still running 1.0.
Is 1.10 (with or without the battery patch) worth it?
Thanks!
Jeff

Generally if you unit is working properly and not experiencing any issues that the update fixes and you do not need the enhancements, in short if you are currently happy with the unit, you definitely do not need to update. I don't think it's worth it. HP will release WM5 update for this model in the near future anyway, you may just want to wait for that major upgrade.
