hi ya im new to the message board but got a question where can i get free softewre for the 9210 and can i only run software that was written for the 9210 or does other pda software work as well hope u can help me.........:confused:

The 9210 uses Symbian OS release 6. Therefore any software written for this OS will run on your 9210.

Symbian OS used to be called EPOC, but software for release 5 and below will not work on your phone since ER6 included one fundemental change - from ASCII to Unicode.

As far as finding free software is concerned, what did you think search engines are for? ;)

There are no websites dedicated to 9210 software that I know of, so you're best off searching with words like:

9210 Symbian ER6 software

Just to supplement diem's excellent advice on searching, you might also like to try the following site:

There is a pretty comprehensive listing there for the 9210 - not necessarily free, much of it will be shareware. Plenty for you to consider though.

I can certainly recommend the excellent freeware game "Vexed" however - it's on the list.

Thanx for the help the thought had crossed my mind but my mate said that it wouldnt work, i very new in to the pda arena stuck to what i know well which is pc's
