I use to have a Palm V, and then I got a Tungsten T. Now I just got a T3 and it seems like palm changed graphiti.
If i go to pref->graphiti 2 there are options for T, P, Y and $. However, changing these options doesn't seem to have any effect. Also other letter changed like L, I, and K. Is there anyway to get graphiti 1 for the T3?

you could purchase teal script
best purchase i have made. There are ways to move graffiti 1 onto your Palm but they are complicated adn you loose Graffiti 2 shoudl you ever change your mind. Tealscript does graffiti one, it also learns your strokes and the newwest version even shows the line for caps witht he wriote on screen enabled.

Follow the steps outlined at http://mo-life.blogspot.com/2005/02/convert-graffiti-2-to-graffiti-1-on.html and you'll soon have Graffiti One back on your T3. :)

You can change back to G-1 just as Jim said. However, with TealScript you have the best of both, and can even further customize it totally to your own liking and convenience. I tried both and stuck with the TealScript. You can tailor it to G-1, G-2 or anything you want. That is if you dont mind spending the few bucks ($19.95 when I bought it).

I guess I need to check TealScript out more. Thanks for the heads up.

I use TealScript too. What I like most is that if you find you constantly write one character and get another (in my case c and l, p and h) you can go into TealPoint and enter lots of examples for each letter and it will learn how *you* enter it.
