I'm going from a M505 to a M515. I need to get ALL my data from the M505. I have Sync'd my data to the M515 and I get this error. I have also tried to restore from BackupBuddyVFS and I get the same error at restart. Please help. Thanks.:confused:

I remember a problem like this on the old boards. It was caused because the person had FATFS installed on the 505 and when he restored to the 515 of course the program was installed on the 515. Since it exists in flash ROM on the 515 that led to a confilict since two copies of the same program were on the machine.

Look in your Palm backup directory on your desktop and see if you find a copy of the program FATFS. As I remember he had to delete the program from his backup directory on his desktop computer and then do a hard reset and sync. After that all was alright.

Hi,

Recently I upgraded my old M500 for a brand new M515 and I encountered the same problem after trying to install the new device just by Hotsyncing.

My solution was to install everything from scratch, but later I found out that the problem was a Keyboard Driver (Think Outside's version 1.5).

After installing all other apps I installed the driver again and till now all is well..
