MapSource wont find my iQue 3600

I was trying to install some waypoints to my iQue from MapSource, but it didnt find my iQue.
I got the message: You may need to set the interface option on your GPS to "Garmin or Host"
How do I do that?

You must save the waypoints in Mapsource as a .mps file.
Then import them into PalmDesktop and HotSync them to the iQue.

I tried to transfer waypoints using the .mps but they would not hotsync. Would you provide me more instructions or tell me what I am doing wrong?

I put the .mps file in a special place and then pulled it to the Palm Desktop using the Install. All seemed fine but it would not hot sync.

Having saved the waypoints as .mps,
Open PalmDesktop
Look for addressbook and the 'green flag' [see screenshot and red arrow]
Import you waypoints from the .mps file from the green arrow.
HotSync
Most new waypoints will end up in the unfiled category!
Move them to the correct category.

If you can't see green flag is beacause you haven't plug-in called
iQue Transfer Waypoints (http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=447).
