Hi, can anybody assist me with a bluetooth problem. I use the Palm T3 with a Sony Ericcson T68i phone, everything has been working perfectly using the SMS function until yesterday when I checked my phone for messages. The T3 downloaded one new message but when I tried to reply the T3 now keeps telling me that it is unable to connect to phone. I have tried setting up the blutetooth again but now keep getting the same message.

The first thing to try is a soft reset of your Palm whenever it starts acting "funny" :)

Hi, I have tried a couple of times to perform a soft reset but to no avail the problem persists

The next thing to try is resetting the phone. It sounds like your trusted pair arrangment has gotten hosed up. You can also try the procedures listed at http://tinyurl.com/7jdlu .

Hi Jim, I have now performed a reset on my phone and problem appears to be here as i can no longer pair any devices from it (it will not discover anything) It looks like I need to take the matter up with Sony Ericsson. I have tried my T3 with my bluetooth gps and tomtom and it is working ok, so I think no fault is not with the pda.

Sorry to hear that but it does sound like the phone's bluetooth hardware has failed. Hopefully you can get a free or cheap replacement.
