Hello,
I have just bought a tungsten E2, and even though I have tried to read the manuals and some web pages for tips, I still have some very basic questions:
I have some asx videos in my computer, and I want to watch them in my Palm. According to what I have read in some web, I have downloaded and installed ASFTools.
- I have downloaded MMPlayer and installed it into my Palm. I can see the application in my Palm, and I can open it.
- I have used ASFTools and I have converted my asf file into an avi file (previously, I have just renamed my asx file into an asf file using the command line)
- I have used the Palm Desktop -> Media to catch the avi file. After a long, long time, apparently the process has finished. I have done a HotSync, and after a long, long time the process has finished.
However, if I open MMPlayer in my Palm, I do not see anywhere where I could open some files to be watched in MMPlayer. What is even worse, I can see that almost all my SD card is free space, so it seems that the avi file (around 150MB; my SD card is 1GB) has not been saved into my Palm. However, there has not been any notification that there had been any problem (I have looked the log, and there was no "strange" message).
So, what should I do now to get my videos in Palm? are avi files OK? or I should convert this file into another format? and if the avi file is OK, how can I tell my tungsten E2 that it should save the avi file into my SD card when hotsyncing?
