iQue M5 - Resetting itself !?!? [Archive]

My iQue M5 has been resetting itself automatically when its was connected to computer via USB/cradle resulting in complete loss of data (which is one of the reasons I'm trying to get away from using the cradle for syncing or charging..most of the charging happens in the car anyways).

I had recently upgraded to the latest upgrade 2.50. Tech Support asked me to re-install and that didnt help either!

Any ideas?

I have the same problem as soon as I connect M5 to computer iQue resetting itself

maybe sombody know what can I do with that problem

Here are the 2 things I did - not sure which fixed it..

1. Reset iQue M5 and re-installed Ver. 2.50 Update (http://www.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=010-00344-00)
2. (this might sound crazy) Changed the power outlet used to a different one.
