Naming your PDA.

Well, some may see me as a deranged lunatic who needs professional help and you probably aren't too far away from the truth. I'm one of those few crazy people that name their vehicles, computers and other personalized items. I called my Visor Deluxe Viz, my iPaq PaqMan, the M100 I have Emma, and my Tungsten T Effity (Say 550 real fast, and it sounds like the name). What cool name/pet name do you call your Tungsten T or previous PDAs?

I call every pda i have owned: NR70v clie, handera, and all the palms I have had "my palm pilot"

What's really funny is that palm has changed the name from palm pilot to palm by itself about 3 or 4 years ago. Yet, even on current commercials on tv or references to the Palm computer in the media it it still usually referred to as a palm pilot.

That is an interesting story...

It seems that the folks who own the "Pilot" pen company sued Palm for use of the term pilot... and won...

Then later, they offered to have Palm market a group of styli that were pen/styli configurations, and have the name Pilot on them...

Of course, you can imagine what Palm corporate said in response...
