Hello, can I get some settings for modems as : generic modem, direct cable connection ? Just to confirm that something is wrong, for my MC218 doesn't connect properly to internet or when retrieving emails. Somebody who experienced the same problem, please advice me ... Thanks in advance.

I think you need to tell us what you are trying to connect with. If you are using an external modem, you must have a null modem adapter between the PsiWin cable and the modem. Carrier Detect (DCD) should also be disabled.

Hey, Mike, you know what? I call the guy who own the shop that I bought my MC218, and he suggested me to change the dial number, so I did, and pheewww... it works.. so the problem ended there, but I thank you for your attention, Mike... ciao..
