good afternoon....
my trouble is a quite crazy....
two days ago i connected as every day my ipaq h2210 to my pc with windows xp media center 2005 edition.... but it won't work.

before it always worked fine, but now it doesn't work neither with usb connection or bluetooth.

the pocket pc, via usb connection, is well recognised by the desltop pc: it appears under system peripherals as every day, and on connection settings under file menu on active sync 3.8 desktop pc program when the connection is established it is well marked: usb connected.

but instead of make start the active sync program and the green circle saying "connecting" .... the tray bar icon of active sync remain grey and it happens nothing......

the same situation with bluetooth.

before this situation, yesterday... there has been a period of good connection but bad syncronization.... sync started but it doesn't complete successfully.

the same situation also on another pc with mce 2005

i saw that in active sync folder there are two exec files:

WCESMgr.exe that make start active sync, and

wcescomm.exe, "connection manager" that is unuseful to click: nothing happens.

could this be a symptom of some corruption of files?

and what could I do to report situation to normality???

Have you tried soft reset the iPAQ and restart the desktop? Have you recently installed any firewall or security software on the desktop? You can try reinstalling Activesync on the desktop.
