Complitely occasionally, I've discover hotsynd doesn't syncronize notepad application (I'm not sure if is named NOTEPAD, because localized italian version is BLOCCO NOTE).

In effect in HOTSYNC-CUSTOMIZE this apps doesn't appear.
And there isn't a button to ADD or define which application need syncronized (there is only a botton to change DIRECTION of sync).

I try to install, unistall and reinstall last garmin version of last palmdesktop (4.1) and nothing change.

Palmone site/support (owful!) doesn't answer to this problem.

Any idea?

The iQue comes with Memo Pad, not Note Pad. Note Pad came with other Palm units. If you really mean Memo Pad, then right click on your hotsync icon and select Custom. Make sure the conduit says 'synchronize the files' and then go to Custom and make sure 'Synchronize the files' is checked there, too. For good measure check "Set as Default'. Hopefully that'll fix things for you :)

I mean Memo Pad...

(in Laptop pc) HOTSYNC-CUSTOM window, I've:
- AGENDA (program for task, date, ecc) with SINCRONIZZA I FILE (Synchronize the files)
- RUBRICA (address book) with SINCRONIZZA I FILE (Synchronize the files)
- INSTALL
- INSTALL TEMPLATE AND SERVICES
- INSTALL IN SD
- SYSTEM
(see pic: http://www.selidori.com/ique/images/no_sync_notepad.jpg )

I DON'T have a memopad apps and I DON'T have ADD or similar button.
In other PC, with the same version of PalmDesktop (from the same installer, lunch by cdrom) I have MEMOPAD voice too and in effect in those PC sync in MEMOPAD are syncronized.
Question is: how I put (force?) sync in laptop?

Have you installed Intellisync from your setup CD.
Use the setup CD to re-instal MemoPad.

Did you get my PM and understand it?

I thought that the iQue didn't come with Memo Pad. I use WordSmith for more complicated documents from Microsoft Word. WordSmith comes with a memo pad, so I have a memo pad on my iQue. But I recall that there was not a memo pad when I bought the iQue new. Am I wrong?

I know this is not what you are asking, but you can find Wordsmith here (http://www.bluenomad.com/ws/prod_wordsmith_details.html) .

Here's a thread (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60479) where people were discussing the lack of notepad in the iQue.

You are wrong, sorry! :) There a difference between Note Pad and Memo Pad. Our iQues came with Memo Pad, which is the original Palm memo program. Some Palm's came with Note Pad, since I never had one with Note Pad I don't know the difference between the two.

Then totally never mind... I have been using Wordsmith for so long, I haven't a clue what the original setup was. :o
