Palm IIIc, USB and Macs

I'm wondering if there is ANY way to get a Palm IIIc to work via USB with a G4 Mac. I've tried to find a PalmConnect kit for the IIIc and simply haven't been able to find one. I bought a serial-USB converter in CompUSA but the dratted thing isn't recognized by my PB. Does anyone here know of a way to do this?

do you mean it just doesn't work, or does the system profiler not see it (os9)? i have had good luck using a usb>serial adapter with my 2001 ibook, provided it's plugged in to the third port from the left of my interex hub (?).
