Hi

I have an Axim X30 and I have perl running on it.

I would like to create a file association for perl, i.e. a file
with a .pl extension is automatically run in perl when
clicked on. How do you do this with Windows Mobile 2003?

Perl doesn't give any options when I run it, it just says

"starting perl with no arguments is currently not useful
on Windows CE"

Tell me something I don't know!!

If only the user interface wasn't so different!

Thanks.

Jason

You can use free 3rd party utility;
PocketTweak
http://tillanosoft.com/ce/ptweak.html
or
myExtensions
http://www.badschwii.com/

Many thanks.

I am always pleasantly surprised how quickly my questions are answered and
how useful the answers are. OK, enough of sucking up to the moderator.

Would you recommend either one of these tools above the other?

Thanks

Jason

Either program should work fine, i use PocketTweak before, it has many other useful functions, so it's good to keep it around. The other one has 1 main function so it may be easier to use.
