RegCleaner/SysCleanup wiped ActiveSync connectivity from PPC to laptop

OK love pocket pc and but I tried eval mechanic register. Tried all but RegCleaner/SysCleanup wiped ActiveSync connectivity from PPC to laptop. Now i need HELP !!!!! My fault for not looking closely at exactly what I was "cleaning up" and checked/wiped. Please be careful in your mechanic software not to wipe critical system reg/files plz. Anyway -- suggestions? help? I reload Activesync 3.8 for nothing.I can conect only by irda. I expect answers is posible to corect activesync on ppc if is damaged. Email me plz if possible... thanks :) :o :)

If soft reset the unit does not fix it. You may have to just bite the bullet and do a hard reset and create new partnership. If you have storage card, you may want to use iPAQ backup to backup PIM data first and copy any files you want to keep, don't backup the entire system. You will have to reinstall applications after hard reset.
