Hello all,

Is anyone aware of a SDIO to Compact Flash adapter? I am considering purchasing a LifeDrive and wanted to use it as a "photo wallet", however all of my digital cameras use Compact Flash. If there's no adapter, is it possible to use a double female USB adapter and the sync cable (would the LD OS show this as a drive so that I could transfer the photos to the LD drive?)

Hi migra,
Have you considered purchasing a SD card and a CF adapter (the other way round to your question), and use the SD card in the adapter for your camera? You can then remove from the adapter and plug the SD card straight into the LifeDrive.

Prices of SD cards are coming down all the time, and I think you probably pick up the adapter on ebay for around the £10/$15 mark. So shouldn't be too much of an expense.
