Hmm, what to say... my nr70v is acting DEAD! I was playing a game on liberty emulator, and it froze at a certrain spot it seems to enjoy freezing at. I tried a soft reset, and the entire screen has now been blank for about 1/2 an hour. It won't respond to anything, none of the buttons, not the reset button, I can't get ANYTHING on the screen.

There were no unusual conditions. I had my memory stick in it, but it was not reading from it, I wasn't overclocking, I had my normal hacks activated, the ones I always use, the battery was at least 1/3 way charged, an nothing unusual was happening to it.

The power button is always lit-up, and the charging light turns on. What happened to it? Any ideas? Thanks

man, that must have realy hurt for the clie. But i might have an idea. How old is your clie, meaning is it still under warrantee or do you care to keep the warrantee. But you cloud try to remove the battery to cut off all power to the clie and try to let is reset. As you know this will reset all the memory on your clie of it works but i could be worth a try.

Unfortunatly I can't even get to the point of being able to hard reset. I think that it is somehow on "hold", like the button on the side, and the reset won't respond. i really don't know though, I havn't ever seen anything like this before. Thanks for the advice.

Wooohooooo!! My clie is back! After about 1 1/2 days without my clie(AAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!) the battery drained(first time I've ever been glad about that) and my clie is all hunkey-dorey! I still can't help wondering though, what the heck happened?? There was nothing out of the ordinary, and suddenly this happened, which I've never seen on any of my pdas before. Well, I'm happy anyway. Thanks for the ideas guys, and I'm glad I won't be sending it in for repairs(although I might have snaggwed an nx in ther process;) ).
Well, thanks, and if anybody has a bright idea why this happened, I'd still love to know, cheers
