lets see where to begin...whenever i play a movie on kinoma and turn the sound up, all i hear is random static clicks. Help!

Whenever i try to move my kinoma movie files to my MS, it gives me an error. Help!

and why does my MS have like all these extremely weird folders? I opened a folder that was named "[]" and inside was like 40 folders, all named "||||||||||||". When i try to delete these folders, it says "Directory Inhibit" or something similiar. Help!

How do u run programs off of the MS?

thanx for any help u provide.. and please help! ^_^

Use your MSGate utility and reformat your stick. (Hit the dropdowns to find the format option) Then create a folder "Kinoma" in the Palm/Programs directory on you stick. After this you can use MSImport utility to drag the movie files into the Kimona folder on said stick!:D

1. Put your unit in the cradle(with the MS in your unit)
2. Tap on the MS Import Utility(It takes a few seconds to connect)
3. Now you should be able to see your MS as a new drive in Windows Explorer.
4. Drag your MP3 files to the MSAUDIO file on your stick from thier location on your hard drive.(navigate through the folders on your stick PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO)

Hope this helps

You can also connect using the Audioplayer program by hitting the dropdown Options/Transfer and it will connect in a similar way.(with the unit in the cradle of corse)
:D  :D

Opps!! Can do the same thing with Kinoma(drag & drop), but you have to create a folder named KINOMA first.. /PALM/PROGRAMS/KINOMA:eek:

Not all apps will run off of the Memory stick, but some will. What you do is load up your app to be hotsynced like normal, usually this is by clicking on the app which puts it into the install tool. Then while you are in the install tool look for the button that says Change Destination. When you click on this it will let you install selected files to the memory stick. This is really handy for certain apps that are Memory Stick aware and have big databases but releatively small app files.

You can also get a couple of other programs that will supposedly let you run apps directly off of the memory stick as if they were in RAM. I've tried some and didn't have any luck so far but others have.

To format your stick use the MS Gate utility. Dropdown list "options" hit format. You can also create folders, etc using the "tools" dropdown.
If your stick is write protected you will need to slide the small button on the back of the stick to the unlock posision. A red area will show on the button(switch) if it is write protected.
