I have the above Clie, so far this is what has happend i have transfered Mp3's to the palm under the MSAudio folder and so on. What happens is that when i try to play it, it gives me some weird message like about copyright and does this with everysong... unless i reset the palm then it plays the mp3's ... but soon after when it goes through all the songs it starts to give the same error messages and only way to get rid of them is to reset it again ... iv updated the audio library basically all the updates available on the sony site but no luck ... does anyone have any idea's???? ...
Any response would be appreciated... thanks..

Well after playing around with it so much and reading other posts and stuff i think its the same problem as most others whom have posted here ... at the moment it wont detect the memory stick unless i take it out reset it put the mem stick in and reset it again ... and after about 10-15 mins it stuff's up again and doesnt know the mem stick is there... im not happy at all at the moment ... unfortunately i baught this second hand and the seller baught it overseas so i being in australia there is no warranty for it .. oooh well ... i dnt know what to do at the moment

Well if there is no warantee you might as well do the fix yourself. I didn't want to do this because I didn't want to void the warantee. My NR70V is at Sony being fixed right now (10 days since I shipped it so far!).
There are specific instructions available on some message boards. Perhaps someone can find the exact reference. The thing that has seemed to work is to open the unit and install a paper shim. Those that have tried it say it works.
Another fix seems to be to put a piece of scotch tape on the label area, in addition to the label.
Apparently the extra thickness will hold the MS in place.
Good Luck,
John
