EasySnyc Pro 4.2.2 and ActiveSnyc 4.0 for Pocket PC

Just received my Dell Axim X51 - installed Activesnyc 4.0 - went beautifully - then installed EasySnyc Pro 4.2.2 to sync with Notes - when I try to sync my X51 with my computer get this error message" Uses a file no longer supported. Please obtain updated version." Am I going to have to bite the bullet and buy the newest version of EasySnyc Pro or is there a fix for this problem?

There are conflicting reports from users whether the newer 4.2.3 will even work with WM 5.0
