I just purchased a Palm VIIx and am trying to load some e-books. I hot sync them into my palm but can't access any .pdb files. I know they are loaded because I can find them in the delete menu. - I just can't find them to open. What am I doing wrong?

pwh,
I don't think you have done anything wrong. You have simply not provided your self with a "Reader" to give you access to these files. I have linked and interesting review on DOC readers below.

Thank You! I found a doc reader and it works on e-books. Now if I can just find a db reader for my .pdb files. The search goes on. ;)

Your PDB files should already be associated with a "reader." That is to say that there is little reason for a PDB to be on your Palm if it was not loaded with or created by an existing applications.

You may want to consider a comprehensive File Manager for your Palm, such as myWorkbench from toysoft.ca. Then you can see the "creator ID" of the file and determine its associated application.
