Looking for some answers. I am a new IPAQ hx2490 owner running WM5. I live in Europe and am interested in purchasing the Garmin GPS10 Deluxe Bluetooth with Mapsource CitySelect Europe.
I cannot seem to get the straight answer from the licensed Garmin dealers I have been talking to as well as Garmin Tech Support in the US. Is the GPS10 along with Que software WM5 compatiable.
Grateful for any advice. I understand that Axim users running WM5 are running into all sorts of issues so I thought I would ask on this forum for some help.
Thanks.

It works, with tweaks. There is a good thread on it here:

Edit: Haha you need to guess what should be inserted in the automatically censored part, it's something like lowpriced pda, IP 216.68.63.93
just omit the three "dubyas"
You could also google for this string: "PPC; GPS10 not compatible with Windows Mobile 5?"
Actually, this isn't the only site I know which censors references to other sites. The french site for the new french topo maps is much worse. I won't even mention its URL. I guess they think that if China can limit information exchange on the internet, why shouldn't we. Good luck.

Just an update to my own posting. Garmin technical support has not responded to my emails so I called them and they advised me that it should work and that everybody there in technical support was using WM5. They did not provide any information as in the link above with patches and they did not offer any advice to make me feel more comfortable.
Thus, at this point, I have given up on them and will look for another GPS solution for my PDA.

Garmin support is fooling you.
It seems there is a new version of Garmin Que coming up for WM 5.0.

Hope this will help to solve your problem.
