Newb Needs help

Ok, here's my situation. I own a laptop with wireless internetblah blah blah. i also own an ipod to hold all my music. recently im considering buying a HP Ipaq 4155 on ebay for a reasionable price. i like the idea being able to take movies and get on the internet at my school and use it for organizing and email while im away. my question is with what i already own would i use the ppc enough to be worth buying it? any oppinions and suggestions are extreamly welcome.

well im not rich, i bought my own laptop recently this summer and i got the ipod as a gift. i would be buying this with my own money to. do you htink it would be a god ivestment. how is the ipaq 4155 is it any good.

If you want a "pocket lap-top", then the PPC can do that for you.....the question is what info/applications do you actually need on hand? For instance, my PPC has got Textmaker/Planmaker so I can read and create perfect Word/Excel docs...also my syncs with my company Exchange Server via my mobile....I actually use these features an awful lot as I'm away from my Office base regularly. But all this costs money (£1 a meg for data, software was £30+....)

Before you buy, you really need to work out what it is you actually need to do. It's an exspensive do if your buying something you never use....there are loads of people at my work who use PPC as nothing more than a pocket diary....total waste of cash in my opinion! Also, If you can, get a PPC 2005 device...I think the standard software is is now better value for money (ie has more functioinality)
