Infrared through cell phone connection, requiring that you have an infrared capabable cell phone that connects via GPRS (or cell phone data plan). Direct connection to the cell phone using a special cable that connects to the cell phone, again using the cell's internet connection. Wi-Fi using the only Wi-Fi card that works for the Zire 71 (Sandisk SDW-SDB-000-A10M). NO OTHER Wi-Fi card WILL WORK because there's no drivers that can enable it to work on the Zire 71. Via Enfora Wi-Fi portfolio case that works as both a case and a wi-fi receiver. Via your computer's connection when connected to it via the cradle or charger. You need Softtick PPP the software to do so. Via your old 56k modem if you have an old dial up connection. But you will need a modem cable to do so. Telyx 11-18-2005, 04:45 AM You can also use the IR or cable to cellphone option to dial up to your regular ISP, assuming you have dial-up access available. ven_42 11-18-2005, 05:54 AM Softick PPP worked well for me, but I *highly* recomend getting a usb hotsync cable as it's a right hasstle trying to use the net on the Zire71 while also trying to keep it in the cradle (well, when you're also sat in the garden drinking beer and eating junk food while your Zire71 leeches off ure houesmates Laptop connection ;-) ) PDA Street
