I gave a Sony Clie sL10 as a gift and I want to know how to uninstall software. I have Doc to go Installed but I want to know how to get it uninstalled so I can install it later on the Memory stick. Thanks

I just bought the Clie SL-10 for my mom and I want to know how to use it like how to hard rest, delete programs, and other things. I know how to use some it features since I am a pocket pc user but not all of them. I also want to know some info about the SL-10 and if it is any good? I also want to know can i update tha Clie's roms to Palm v.5? Thank you.

To delete apps on the SONY simply go to the main screen that lays out all of the application ICONS. Upper left corner should be the TIME, tap it, tap DELETE and after a few seconds a list will be presented for your use in selecting and deleting apps.
After the app is deleted and you do a hotsync the app should be filled away for later use in the Folder named "Archived."

As regards the updating of the ROM to OS5, NO! As to other versions of the Palm OS, NO! One of SONY's ways to prevent disasters according to in house sources at SONY.

Hard reset: Hold down the Power On button while you poke the reset pin in the small hole on the back, withdraw the pin but continue to hold the power button until you see the Palm OS Logo. Let go. YOu are offered the means to remove all files...its up to you.

Is it a good unit? You bought it for your mother so I hope so. Did t come with a manual?
