I haven't been on here in a while. Is Garmin offering USB 2.0 or firewire for the 3600's yet? I started a 350 meg map transfer about three hours ago and it's still going. This is sooooooo slow. Wow, speak of the devil. It just finished while I was typing this post. Anyway, are there any improvements? I tend to change maps semi often due to travel and would love to speed this up some.

get a usb sd card reader and load directly to the card thru the reader works much faster

i have one. how do you select it to the card though? when i load maps, it only gives me the option of internal ique memory or the sd card in the ique.

Open palm desktop, map install, select maps, then is should ask where to send maps to you should be able to select your usb mass storage device which everdrive its listed as (E or G) It should be faster

You may have to select find device and have windows find the device
