I hear noise but no sight of apps.

I see nothing but I hear noises when I tap the screen. I have tryed hard and soft resets and taken out the HB286 chip. I am lost now does anyone know what is wrong or have seen this before? I would appretiate any help. thanks, danny

What you are describing is a screen failure. The digitizer is working but not the screen. Check the cable connection.

Yes, I will try that but when I fixxed it, well thought I fixxed it i could see stuff and set it aside thinking it was fixxed but I came back and it did that. could it still be the screen?:confused: should I not have pulled the chip?
