How to get "nice" alarm sounds?

Is it the only alternative if I want to have short wav or mp3 alarm sounds in my Palm E2?

hey im wondering if you found any decent sites with FREE tones. i have an tungstenE2 and would love some new sounds (i use mine as an alarm clocK). lemme know if anything comes up i can use. thanx.

still nothing on this huh? i am still trying to find a sound that doesn't make me wanna get up and throw my e2 thru a window...and also a sound i might actually enjoy-no britney spears, no american idols, sheesh! and i say free is good bc we all know there will be something better out, in about a day..

I have recently been looking for a way to replace the existing alarm sounds with my own sound but I have not found anything that meets my requirements. At any rate, it is very easy to find free alarm sounds for the Palm. All you have to do is a Google search. I have found many but they are all movie songs and the like. I am interested in a simple alarm sound that has a wide range of frequencies so it is more likely to be heard in as many kinds of environments as possible. But saddly it appears that most are only looking for something cute instead of effective.
