505 sync to Outloook in XP problem

Have just upgraded to XP Pro and can't sync my 505 Have tried USB and IR but can only sync to Palm desktop software but not to Outlook, which is where I want it.
Have tried:
connected to network
not connected
logged on to laptop... etc. etc.

Any ideas?

When I upgraded to XP from 98 Outlook wouldn't sync at all. Chuprua was useless but worse yet, if I uninstalled it nothing would sync.

Are you getting anything at all?

I checked the speeling of my name in my acount profile and it differed by one letter, so I changed that and, hey presto!, sync completed successfully with IR. I have my mail and contacts back .
