I have a dELL aXIMX50V PDA, TomTom5.1 software, a FGPCFCD01 CF GPS xtrac2 Receiver and have problems. I have left the pda outside for an hour, untouched, to get the info needed for a cold start. When I start Tomtom, the software connects with the cf receiver and it starts to look for a fix. But this fix can take anywhere from 10mins to 30 mins to never......even from a hot start. I also have a program called VisualGPSceIn, which when I use, connects to a fix within 2 mins, even indoors, so I know the gps receiver is working. In the same spot indoors I get no satellites showing on tomtom.....Does anyone know why, what can I do to get tomtom going ?

Thanks

Hi - I have just purchased one of these cards and I have exactly the same problem as you had with the CF card.
Please can you advise if you ever managed to sort it?

I also purchased one of those receivers. I am really a novice with the whole dell axim stuff. How did you guys load the software and drivers into the pocket pc? I was hoping when I plug the receiver in I would get the 'new hardware found' screen but that didn't happen.
Thank you for your help.
