I have tried repeatedly to install the PhotoBase program that came with my TT. After installation, I open the program and try to transfer one of the sample images to my palm. Whether I use the pull-down menu and select transfer to handheld or click on the icon I get the message that the Palm Desktop Software must be installed in order to perform this operation. I have installed the Palm Desktop Software that came with the TT!

What am I missing. I am sure to disable my anti-virus protection (I know this can cause problems). Everything else works great. I installed most all of the free software that came with the TT with 0 problems. However, PhotoBase continues to be a problem.

Please help if you can. One of the main reasons I got the TT was to view hi-res photos. I emailed PhotoBase over a week ago and no response. Thanks.

Would someone please help me with this problem. My niece was just born and I would really look to put a picture of her on my TT to show people at work. Thanks.

To put pictures in my handheld I did as follows: ( I donīt know if all the steps are necessary but it works fine for me).

1. I crop the picture to 320x320 pixels in Adobe Photoshop.
2. I save the picture as "something.jpg" in my Palm\Add-On folder
3. Before hotsyncing I can mark the file and "Change destination" in order to save the pictures on my SD-card.
4. Hotsync!
5. After opening Photobase choose card in the upper right corner, click the file
and the picture unfolds.

Good Luck!
