Hey everyone! I'm quite new to PDAs and I do know that I can create my own logos and apply it to my m515. My question is, does anybody know how to maintain the logo, so that when a hard reset is performed, or if the battery completely dies, that it will show up?
Thanks for all the help!

MasterMind - I'm not sure I understand your question. What software are you using for the logo? Is it something like logohack where you're displaying a custom logo on startup? If so, I would think it would be restored (along with all other programs) following a hotsync after the hard reset / battery failure. Maybe another option for you is to use BackupBuddyVFS:Free 2.02 available at palmgear. This will back up all your files onto the SD/MMC card and then you can perform a restore from there without a hotsync. It should put all your settings/customizations/logos back to the way they were.

dwhoward: Actually, something lke that.... this is my predicament.
My company is ordering 400 palm pilots and my job is to make our company logo and display it when the PDAs are turned on.
I used X-Master ... just for testing ... and I was able to create the logo to appear when I shut my palm on and off...
but when I do a hard reset, or if my battery dies, then it does not reappear...
I have to go back to X-Master and re-configure it ....
but keep in mind that my customers will be owning these palms, and I don't wish for them to do it themselves, or know how to ....
You understand me now? So basically, I wanted my logo to be displayed when a hard reset is performed, or battery dies.
Any help?
