I bought recently the Garmin Ique M5 and Sandisk 256MB WIFI recommended by the seller. After being unable to install the wifi driver (following message is displayed after installing the drivers from SanDisk homepage: "the program you have installed may not display proberly because it was designed for previous version of windows mobile software") I surfed in the internet and found several comments that the Garmin Ique M5 is sold with Windows 2003 Second Edition preinstalled that is incompatible with the drivers of the wifi card. From SanDisk tech support I received following answer:""Unfortunately, the wifi line has been discontinued. It is true that it is not compatable with ppc 2003 second edition. There will not be any future firmware." As there were still several M5 users that claimed that SanDisk wifi card works properly on their devices, I contacted also Garmin tech support about this issue and asked what do they think about this issue and whether it is possible that their software update in april messed things up. Here is their pretty interesting answer: "With the wifi card we had 2 in the office and only one worked on the M5 so if us is not working then I would take and get it replaced with another card and that one will work. You can update the software on the M5 I can't see anything do been fixed with drives." Could anyone who has a correctly functionting SanDisk 256MB WIFI card in Garmin IQue M5 write here his/her Garmin Software version (Start > Settings > System > Assets > Version > ROM > Revision) to shed some light on this issue. My version is 2.50-uk. Thank you.
