For the curious, this is the inside of a GPS10.
If you need to open the case use a thin blade and gently pry the case apart, the adhesive used is a silicone type and the case opens up without to much force.
The power socket is completely encased in the silicone compound and should be fully waterproof.
The battery would be easily replaced if you could find the equivalent pack.
