Is there a way to download updates/expand maps for iQue M5?

I have the European map set, but Madeira (Portugal... part of the Canary Islands) lies just outside the map boundries. This is one of only three locations that I need. My instinct tells me that I'm SOL, but is there a possible download or expansion that I could purchase? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Youre in luck. I just went to Madeira this past May on vacation and went through the same process of trying to figure out which maps to install. I tried Oziexplorer and other similar third party tools where I needed to download a raster map and calibrate it - I never got that to work quite right. Instead, I purchased the worldmap.

I found a used one on eBay that did the job. Don't expect anything in Madeira to be mapped other than major roads, however. Even in Funchal, you won't get much. However, for hiking, it worked great and I used the world map to plot my points around and not get lost.

Hope you enjoy your trip to Madeira - it was by far one of the most beautiful places I've visited.
