HELLO

I AM WORKING ON A PROJECT WHERE I WANT TO USE A MICROFLEX 2240 PDA (DAP TECHNOLOGIES, RUNNING WINDOWS MOBILE) TO TRIP THE SHUTTER OF A DIGITAL CAMERA AND THEN READ THE IMAGE DATA DIRECTLY TO THE PDA.
IS ANYONE AWARE OF A SOFTWARE PRODUCT TO FACILITATE THIS?

THANKS

First of all, please don't yell.

Second, I haven't heard of such a product. For something like this to theoretically work, you would need to find a digital camera that supports bluetooth (assuming your PDA also has bluetooth or supports a bluetooth SDIO card) and includes an application/driver for your PDA to interface with the camera.

You might want to consider an SDIO Camera (http://www.google.ca/search?q=sdio+camera) (assuming your unit supports SDIO cards, which I think most or all recent PPCs do). While these tend to be lacking in features and only support relatively low resolutions, it would do basically what you're asking for.

The next best thing I'd suggest getting a camera that uses an SD card and writes in JPEG formats. That way, you can just pop the SD card into your PDA and read the pictures right off of their using the appropriate viewer.

(BTW, the size is still insane)
