HI

I need ordenar to order my documents, and I want something like this:

business
.........clients
..................JON
..........................document 1
...........................document 2
..................michael
...........................document 1
...........................document 2
..................richard
..................ETC
.........supplier
..................maxtor
...........................document 1
...........................document 2
..................AMD
..................intel
...........................document 1
...........................document 2
..................ETC
.........debt
..................a
..................b
..................c
..................etc
personal
.........my personal debts
.........etc
.........etc
and so on

anyone can give my an advice to achieve this??

Can't be done like that on the Palm OS......since there is no folder structure on the handheld.

You can get close on an SD card using something like FileZ (freeware availalble at www.palmgear.com) but not in RAM. The simplistic nature of the Palm OS allows for only one folder - the root on the handheld.

Rather than using folders and having to store this info in some kind of file format(text, notepad)??

Use DocsToGo and set it up in a spreadsheet.

the problem is, that each document it is a complete spreadsheet or word document, and now I have a lot ot clients, then it is realy painful to find one

then how you handle this situations??

I suppose you could create categories for clients, suppliers, etc. and then give your documents a name that includes the name of your contact and a date.

As for the folder structure, it is true that Palm does not allow much flexability in folder structures. I know Pocket PC allows sub folders to be created in the My Documents directory. Hopefully, the new Linux version of Palm will overcome this limitation.

and this linux for Palm that you mentioned, it is compatible with common software for palm??
